For a premium brand and a company that "offers the highest levels of service and expertise" the customer service my wife and i received was awful. Almost two weeks ago, we spent 2 hours at the dealership waiting for the guy who we were supposed to see. An assistant took over and while she tried her best .... we left with no test drive and no figures. We were told that a test drive could probably be the following Tuesday and in the meantime the figures would be sent via email within 48 hours.... guess what? No communication from the dealership, no figures and no news on a test drive. The two hours we spent looking at cars, giving our details and requirements was a total waste of time. We haven't totally discarded a BMW but it won't come from this dealership.
Was told on the phone my waiting appointment for a new wing mirror cover and a bonnet latch inspection would be half an hour. Got there and was told one and half hours and over two hours later I am still waiting!!!!! Its all very well improving the showroom with new wiring and air conditioning, its lovely giving people free coffee and biscuits but even the smiley ladies wondering in and telling everyone but me that it wont be long doesnt make the personal service here any more disappointing. When I asked about my car was told paperwork was just being done and that was all most 40 minutes ago. I am furious as I have a business to run and could of gone back to work and come back for the car. Absolute shower and Im gutted I have a maintenance contract for 3 years with them
Terrible customer service. Dropped my car off in the morning and told it would be ready by 4pm. 4pm comes round and no phone call or update. Finally contacted at 5 which left me no time to collect the car and they kept it overnight. Arrive at 9am the next morning and wait for 2 hrs with little in the way of updates. Mixed messages as to whether the vehicle recall was properly checked and missed an important work deadline. Where's my reimbursement for the deadline missed? I will be having the EGR valve (cause of the vehicle recall) independently checked to ensure the car is actually safe to drive.
This is my second visit recently & my family & I were not even acknowledged by any staff today!Our 1st visit we arrived in the showroom 10 minutes before closing & were told they were closing! I purchased my 1st Mini Cooper through the previous company Scothalls & they gave an amazing customer experience. I wouldnt return back now!
Compassionate And Dedicated StaffAs I look at a car as a fashion accessory so I have had FOUR cars from BMW and Mini Group Partridge Southampton over past 7-8 years, despite great suffering from losing money at each change. There was a an error made in the finance aspect which may due to ineffective communication when taking out my latest contract a few months ago.English is a foreign language to me, although Im fluent in using it, I absolutely hate dealing with any conflicts either in verbal or writing and I get very stressed by it.With no other options I contacted BMW Partridge Southampton and was seen by Scott Calder and Steve the BMW Retail Manager. After hearing from me they immediately reassured me that they are going to sort the issue out fairly, without any argument, which I wasnt expecting. They both were very pleasant and professional which was again unexpected. Took a little time, a couple of calls and emails they resolved the issue. Throughout the whole thing there wasnt any arguing , blaming or bad attitude from them at all. They have showed me great professionalism and satisfactory customer service. They do work very hard with outside family hours to provide the service at our convenience. They deserve a big thumbs up and a good income.
