Very Impressed all round ! My daughter recently purchased a car from SJC and I initially went on my own to view the car before purchase.Stuart one of the Directors , was extremely helpful from start to finish, and he was very pleasant , professional and fair. Initially, before going there , I discussed the car with him on the phone, and I was happy for her to buy the car without seeing it . Stuart insisted I go to the garage to view it and test drive it first. I did exactly that, and I wasn't dissapointed , it was in great condition, exactly as he had described. I've purchased many cars , bikes, and boats over the years, and my instincts have never failed me. My rule of thumb which I was taught by other motor industry professionals is ' if it looks right it normally is'. As soon as I entered this garage, the place looked right, the people looked and sounded right, and most importantly the car looked right. They had taken the trouble to prepare the car and present it properly for sale, and that is a very good sign. It helps that I'm also a City and Guilds Chartered Motor Vehicle Technician from a previous career I had in the Motor Industry, but everything still stacked up right purely from first impressions about this car and the garage and the people. My daughter is delighted with the car, and the exemplary service we received from them. I would definitely go back and buy another car from them, they are totally trustworthy.I also would like to add that during the 3 months warranty period , there was a problem with the clutch. SJC cars were absolutely brilliant when we contacted them regarding this fault. Following initial investigations and diagnosis they took the car into their workshops and replaced all of the parts in the clutch .It was difficult on this occasion for their technicians to identify which part of the clutch assembly had failed and that's why they replaced all of the component parts which was the correct course of action and is highly commendable.

When I bought my car there, everything was fine any everyone was very friendly and helpful. Therefore, I first had a very good impression. I had been told that before I could collect the car they would bring it to a garage to do some checks and make sure that everything was working, which sounded really good. When I then went there to collect it, I was told that the break disks got replaced (as this was adviced on the MOT certificate). However, after a month, the front ones started to squeak. After I went to my local garage they told me that they were completely rusty. I had to get the front ones replaced which I had to pay myself. I phoned SJC Cars up to complain and they then told me (after asking which brakes(front or rear) my garage had replaced) that they only replaced the rear ones, as only these were advised to be replaced on the last MOT certificate. Having checked the certificate myself I could see that both, the front and the rear ones needed to be replaced. So clearly, they have been dishonest, which is a shame because surely, otherwise, I would have bought my next car there as well. Still, my car is very good, I am really happy with it and it is still good value for money. I just think that it would have been better to be honest with me.
