Normal Spoons a few local beers usually served with sparkler and are usually fairly good.Spoons do get a bad rap but this is one of the better ones. Plus a real non fake fire.

This is a typical Weatherspoons pub low priced beers guest ales and good portioned pub grub food. Handy location for a last drink before travelling from Eastleigh station or for visiting after a railway journey. The unfortunate drawbacks i have found quiet commonly are the staffing levels are such that a long wait can be expected when ordered at the bar. What is offered is not always in stock resulting in multiple trips back to a large table of diners. A perfect examples of this is when visiting on a 'fish friday' they had run out of fish.The pub is just that nothing special but will be visited again by my family for the cheap prices offered.
You get a good meal at a reasonable price some with drink included in price. Decor now looking a little rough in placestables could be cleaned after use a little quicker. Good healthy meal selectionwarmth from a real fire staff are friendly.
Great to go on the cheap. But the food is normally very cold when it arrives at your table. I received very poor customer service the one girl Zoe was extremely rude and didn't once look up to acknowledge me. But was happily flirting with every men behind the bar. Can't fault the rest of the staff, they ran around doing all the leg work while Zoe happily chatted away with her mate, ignoring other customers.
