A little jem of a pub that have brewery on site and make some decent ales and ciders. It attracts a trendy crowd and they have a good selection of drinks and they serve food and they make good scotch egg. Worth a visit if you are looking for something different.
First and foremost- really great burgers (and credit to them for going with local suppliers- Matts Bakery and LJ Smiths Butchers), really great beer and the onion sticks are incredible- really must recommend them! The burgers patties themselves were the best Ive ever tasted and were beautifully seasoned. The only slight letdown was the state of the tables. Food was a bit slow to come out but there was a large party ahead of us and we were warned prior to ordering and the transparency was really appreciated. The food was presented in plastic red baskets which doesnt really do it any justice. For what I got, for the food being locally sourced and how good the food tasted it was definitely worth the price.
Visited for the first time today.Very friendly venue.Great food & atmosphere.Band was playing from 4- 6 called The Beards.Thought they were brill!Good selection of beers including their own brew.Will definitely be returning.
Superb micro brewery, offering some wonderful choices of their on site products. Very friendly and welcoming staff who are rightly proud of their venue. Very bright and airy space, some outside seating...not sure about the parking situation, but in the street outside (opposite the bus terminal and beside ATS) there is a 2 hour stay on the left.Highly recommended.
