This pub has been open for about a year in a former bank. It offers six real ales, six local craft beers, three types of cider and a wide range of local gins. My first visit was on a Sunday afternoon and the place was nearly full though seating was still available.There was a good atmosphere and the bar staff were helpful. You can order one third of a pint if you want to try a new beer.
Create ales, soft drinks and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Highly recommended
Great venue and a lovely atmosphere. The only downside is that it closes at 10pm, even on a Friday. Took us by surprise. Presumably it's to appease local residents (not that I think there are any!) but it's a shame. Hopefully its licence will be relaxed once it's established a good reputation
Fantastic pub, six real ales, two real ciders and several craft keg taps. Impossible to not have a conversation in here, no one armed bandits, no juke box, no background music, just plenty of people enjoying a very nice drink. On the bluestar number 1 bus route so very easy to get to from Winchester or Southampton, bus stops right outside the door.
Lovely place to try some local real ales. Good choice of gins also. Ideal place to relax and have a chat with friends.
