Lovely park for the children only down side lack of toilet facilities.There are toilets in the bus station but they are disgusting.
Open grassed area, this includes memorial for the two world wars. Bandstand is mainly used by children and used for organised events in the SummerChildren's play area for younger children which is very popular.Pay by the hour public car park by children's play area.
Ok, not as good as fryern rec, in my opinion.
Well looked after and well used. Sometimes there are events in the summer although some are better organized than others. Much more could be done to make more use of the area.
