Lovely place for a quick walk
Good fishing in a pleasant location. Good roach and perch (red maggot works well). Tench and carp can be elusive. And yes, there are some small pike in there. Quite a snaggy place to fish with submerged branches and twigs, plus overhanging trees in most swims (hence not 5 stars). Plenty of wildlife, including ducks, kingfishers, dragonflies, etc. Can be noisy at times with passers by, dog walkers and school kids, but generally peaceful during the week. Fishing pegs aren't muddy and many are flat enough for those fishing from a wheelchair. All in all, well worth the 30 annual license fee (available from Homestores tackle), especially if you live locally.
