WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!! Do not use the garage workshop here. I was parked behind Halfords, Eastleigh on the weekend awaiting my family to return to the car. This is a loading area for the various stores here that also has parking away from the main car park. A dark coloured Mercedes A or B class came tearing around the corner, engine screaming as it was bounced off the rev limiter, suspension rising at the back and dipping at the front from the g-forces as the driver entered the corner way too fast and out of control. The driver then accelerated as hard as he could with the engine screaming through the loading area, turned the car round as fast as he could and did the same back the other way. He then turned into the workshop area of Halfords. I was so horrified by this unsafe driving and abuse of what was clearly a customer's car, that I walked round to challenge him on it. The car was back on the ramps. I told him that I was going to speak to his manager about the way he was driving customer's vehicles. He had nothing to say in reply. So I went round to the reception and reported this to a man sitting on a desk who seemed to take it on board. So off I went to sit back in my car to wait for my family to return ... then another car that I had seen on the Halfords ramps drove through the same area driven extremely badly, dangerously and abusively. Different mechanic this time. Please read this before deciding to trust this bunch of monkeys with your car! And if you had work done on your '10 plate Merc or your SEAT Ibiza there last weekend... your car was badly abused.
Very bad car repair customer service. For a 5minute job was asked to leave a car for a day. Not very communicable staff, not pleasant. Drove 50m to protyre and got everything done in no time.
Had replacement bulbs installed by Matt in a badly designed modern rear light. Fast efficient service and very cost effective. I would have wasted hours of my weekend otherwise.
Great if you want child's car seats, stereo's, windscreen wipers and coolboxes but if you want car repair and parts stuff its not worth the bother. Got a great set of AF spanners they were selling off really cheap so a successful trip in the end.
