Took a break from red dead redemption to visit the beastly Eastleigh library. Despite the surprisingly small size, my cowboy outfit was greeted with a very big welcome and I was shown 'the best selection of wild west literature in the south west'. Despite none of them speaking Liberian, the librarian staff were mostly great: one in particular seemed to have a very great deal of experience (some would say too much) working here and was even keen to help customers with their online dating profile; truly a one of a kind person despite being a wooden pig. A really great reading place and welcomer to cowboy related read-iculousness. Number one in the swan centre.
Good library upstairs in Swan Centre, stairs + lift, on-line computers, children's activities, reasonable collection of books.
