Generally a very good store with great pricing. If you need something out of the ordinary, you might be surprised, depending on what they have lying around - I once picked up an old floppy drive I needed for a project. Staff are always helpful and try to give advice where possible - including recommending other businesses if unable to help you themselves. If you need older IT equipment, such as a replacement CPU fan for an old computer, they probably won't have it. Not really a gripe against the business, just a heads up to the prospective customer. All in all, better than going online and waiting a few days for something. Especially as the prices are very similar.
The shop itself seems dated, older merchandise not really applicable in an age where amazon, computerplanet and other online retailers rule.My boss (Steve Shaw) was rude, condescending and not once offered to provide training. For my whole time of working there I was expected to work the times they had given me, even though it caused me to have to wait over an hour for a train home. If they had only talked reasonably with me and agreed to move my shift ending time by 15min then i could have gotten home at a reasonable hour. As it is, my previous 5 star review was when i started working there, as the place and other staff members I met seemed fun to work with. I'm just sorry i couldn't adjust the rating sooner.

Staff seems inexperienced/showed lack of basic knowledge when it came to laptop repair. The person on the till did not pay attention to what was requested and therefore did not offer a good service. My computer was running slowly and so they charged me for a check up (which didn't fix the problem) and installed an antivirus (which I didn't need as I already had an antivirus that worked perfectly). I don't use my laptop often and so when I returned a couple of months later having found that it's slower than before, the lady told me that the 12 month guarantee printed on my reciept was not valid for software (there is no mention of this in the print). She then went on to explain to me how a month has 30 days in it and 2 months has more. :/ I'm not sure what she was implying. Poor customer service, didn't do the job, charged a lot of money, only to have my laptop returned to me in the same state as it was when I arrived to the repair shop, 7 days later. Would not recommend.
