No where near airport. Made out there was scratches on car but completely minor (smaller than thumbnail). Not sure what is going to happen. Two other customers there while I was and both had issues. Im interested to see what happens but I have a plan to report them to European consumer rights while I can.
Extremely unprofessional service. Seem cheap. They literally tried to force me to buy their insurance. They said minor scratches which dont go to paint are ignored. On return, new scratches at back door were pointed out which I disputed. Few days later my excess was charged with statement scratches on front door. I tried to dispute multiple times, but no satisfactory response. The photos they sent were close up. I had requested a close up and a view from distance to know exact location. I would advise strongly against this company. Better to go with more expensive but better known companies at airport.
I guess you get what you pay for. I payed 11 for an i30 or similar and I got a Renault Clio which, in my opinion, is smaller. I did not complain because it was still big enough. Also, I specifically mentioned my intention to return it the same day instead of the next day, he just said "that is fine". I went to return the car the same day and nobody was there, by phone he was a bit rude pointing that I did not give any notice nor have called. It is the rudeness what bother me. I left the keys in the letterbox as instructed and I am still waiting any news... Remember they ask for an large deposit in your credit card to try to get you into pat more to reduce it. Also remember there is a 15 minutes transfer from the airport to the actual warehouse. 1 extra star for the price and 1 for the 1st guys who were nice.
Great prices for the budget but needs a credit card and large holding amount available regardless of type of car booked.
I hope this helps at least one person from being caught out as we have been. The friendly and quick service is designed to get you to collect the car as quick as possible, so you won't find that 2mm scratch. When you return the vehicle they will go straight to that scratch, and it is there, but you would never find it in hours of scrutiny. It is very well rehearsed and they do it every time. So please take out all the insurances they offer, and look past the friendly smiles. The old tricks are the best tricks.
